Another jazz festival another late night. Very similar drill. Long bus ride, lots of eating, warm-up and then perform their repertoire…. More food and watching some of the other bands and then a long bus ride home. And me just trailing after the fifth graders being the helicopter mom that I am. This time we had cold and rain for our travels. Blessed. I noticed a big difference this performance since the last…. It’s fun to watch them grow! If only we didn’t have to drive so far….
