christmas at kitchen kettle

Kitchen Kettle Village is deep in tourist country in these parts.... We usually just go to hit up the free samples and believe me, those alone are worth it! But it becomes something a bit more during the holidays. We braved the cold and headed down there last weekend.

You see that elf up there? She claims to have recognized the boys from last year... which I mean... that would be something else. I wonder how much of a scene they made to be that memorable? Anyways we got there and you know, priorities: samples. Then we saw that for a dollar you could decorate gingerbread men. You could do this for free outside but it was just so so cold. So the kids did that, Dom's ending up looking like a murder victim. Then we headed outside to see Santa and his friends as they caroled around the village. We of course did the above photo with that group. And then some of the kids toasted s'mores. David even ate an entire one which is not something he normally does.

And I got hot cider. The end.

Last year's trip here!
