Thanksgiving is over and now it is time to just chock our schedules full of all things holiday. The house has been there already sure, but now, it's time for the calendar to get with it and join the program! Some of these things I have even already done because well... Overachiever.
- Visit Hersheypark's Christmas Candylane as often as we can. See also as often as I can handle being cold.
- Okay so dare I say it but my youngest needs to be potty trained. Clearly not holiday related but necessary all the same. Please send me all the potty training well wishes available. Please! This is a daunting task for me this third and final time!
- Help the school kids make holiday presents.
- Do some kind of kid-friendly ornament.
- Do some kind of adult-friendly ornament.
- Listen to nothing but the Michael Buble Holiday station on Pandora.
- Celebrate someone's third birthday... Goodness how is my baby almost three!
- Cornelius. He's around. Questions are lingering just under the surface but for now there you have it.
- Red nail polish, always and forever. Gotta get the nails all fresh for the season.
- Write a letter to Santa and reindeer food
- Hit up the Messick's tractor light show. As hickish as that sounds it's a favorite of mine.
- Have the kids rock matching Christmas pjs over and over! And get a photo of each kid in front of the tree.
- Torture my mother with a cookie baking day.
- Get together with our Fitzs and do another Gingerbread House night.
- Christmas Lights Driving Tours! As often as we can. Even if it is just around the development.
- Watch every Christmas movie I can feast my eyes on. White Christmas. Home Alone 1 and 2. Elf. The Santa Clause. Fred Claus. Scrooged. Holiday Inn. Four Christmases. The Holiday. How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Mickey's Christmas Carol. Rudolph. Frosty the Snowman. Santa Claus is Coming to Town. Christmas Vacation. And don't even get me started on all the Netflix Christmas movies I've been watching while I work out!
- Have an Olsen Christmas and a Trovato Christmas.
- Celebrate my dad's birthday and my sister's birthday!
- Go to the Live Nativity!
- Celebrate at my parent's annual Christmas Cocktail Party.
- Spend our New Year's Eve swimming and watching movies and hanging out with my family down in Amish country!
I really do go over the top but it is the best time of year and we just need to live it on up right?!
