Laurie, enough with the photos of your children sleeping already, right? Well see here's the thing. I just plum forgot about this post until after the children were already nestled all cozy in their beds. Sunday's are hard.
Dominic,
age 2 years: He has to sleep with two blankets on every night. One goes with his sheet set of course and then the other must be chosen from one of several baby blankets that adorn his rocket tent in his room. Each night he requests a different one and it drives us mad standing there holding them all up while he hesitates before choosing the appropriate blanket. Sometimes he changes his mind also... this is all very important.
David,
age 5 years: Sunday was very hard on him, emotionally, mentally, physically, who knows. We even tried to get him to take a nap but that hasn't happened other than when he is ill for years. After his brief reprieve he came back down to join the land of the living and generally succeeded in getting along with us all. Who knows.
Letty,
age 6 years: My father gifted her with her very first digital alarm clock! I actually think this is capital idea because now I can enforce the time. I told her that until the first number is a seven she is not to get out of her bed to play Minecraft. She has taken to writing down her actual time of awakening for me so she can report as such. Sunday's time was 7:18. I think she is most adorable.
