This beach! What a saving grace some sand and buckets and shovels can be! The kids had the very best time just playing there each and every day on our vacation. Can we go play in the sand was practically the first question out of their mouths each morning. The adults would pull up one of the Adirondack chairs and watch them while happily sipping whatever beverage the present time allowed (which when one is on vacation the rules don't really apply now do they?). The kids had ice pops as often as their parents let them and made mountains and dug trenches and carried bucket after bucket of lake water inland for their creations.
What would one do without a beach?
