I hope everyone had a lovely Mother's Day weekend! The bigger kids made little papers up all about me and I thought some of their answers were pretty spot on and hilarious! I'm not sure how Letty knew my age? David has always been very precise about that, but Letty? Nah.
Dominic,
age 2 years: Of course Dom didn't make me a craft because well, he is two. But he sure is handsome. And he's getting really good at smiling for photos if I say, "say underwear!" like as in say cheese? Whatever works, he looks at the camera and smiles and I'm not above it. The little cut on his face is from a tale involving his brother and a child's chair that I'm sure started with he deserved it.
David,
age 4 years: My favorite gems from his piece all about moi are that I am really good at cleaning the floor and that my purse is full of diapers. Both are very true. Our kitchen floor is dark and shows every crumb imaginable so I am always sweeping and cleaning it up. In fact little David here has a chore that is called "Crumb Patrol" and he goes to get my little handheld vacuum and helps me in this department. All while singing crumb patrol to the Paw Patrol theme song.
Letty,
age 6 years: She says my favorite thing to do to relax is sleep and I would say yes, but after a glass of wine? Sleep is just the very best. That's what I try and tell her when she wants to be up before the sun, but sleep is just so very good my dear! She also made me a flower out of paper that the kids made in her class which was pretty sweet. Did I mention the base of said flower is from a recycled tissue box? You know how I feel about that...
