Just like with our nostalgic DW, Hersheypark gets dressed up for Halloween, with a little Hersheypark in the Dark action. We missed the first weekend with the cruise, but lucked out with a warm and sunny Sunday for our first visit of the season. Being that it was a school night we went earlier in the day and left right as the sun was setting so we didn't get to see too much of it in the actual "dark" but luckily we got in another visit before it closed for the season. This day we went with my mom and sister and her family as well. As we do.
The parking lot looked quite intimidatingly full but that ended up being misleading. Thankfully. The kids got on their fair share of rides and then we hit up Treatville for some trick or treating. My mom treated us to dinner too, no packed dinners for us! So thanks Nonna! We ran into my brother-in-law and his family as well as friends of ours from college that we haven't seen since Letty was a baby so that was fun too! Small world, this Central PA world we live in.
Next time I promised the kids they can wear costumes. Apparently skeleton tees aren't cutting it these days.
