when your best friend turns five.

Over Labor Day Weekend we got together with our neighbors turned best friends turned ex-neighbors but still stayed best friends son's birthday. His fifth to be exact. I cannot believe that he's already five! I feel like it was just yesterday that our two houses were freaking out because of all the horrible storms and flooding and road closures and how nervous everyone was because Steph would just have to go into labor on a day when the roads were closed in almost every direction one looked.... And of course she did and the little man was born! My son's very best and first ever friend.

So it was that on this weekend we went over to their new beautiful home (much closer to us I might mention! Not the same as looking out your back window and calling out to them but still! I'll take whatever I can get!) to eat good food and drink good drinks and celebrate Mister Liam. Letty took the camera for a bit and we stayed as long as Letty's behavior allowed.... I can only hope we didn't embarrass them sufficiently enough as to never be allowed back to another party.... Going back to school can be hard on a girl, so I hear?

Thanks as always for having us over our dear Fitzs! And for just being you! And happy day to Liam!
