I may have mentioned a time or a hundred that I really love Instagram. I love beautiful photos in my feed and I try my best (and let's be honest, too hard) to have a pretty feed of my own. Yes, I take a whole lot of photos before narrowing it down to just one. And yes, sometimes I make Matt pick between two images that are pretty much identical. And then yes, I edit them on vsco cam... And then there's the whole caption situation... and then I post. It's all a bit ridiculous and I'm fully aware of my ridiculousness.
But I don't care. I love it. Roll your eyes at me if you will.
And then there are hashtags! Also ridiculous. However. More followers is a good thing, let's just accept that as a reality ok? As a blogger, I mean. Or as anyone who likes to be liked (raises hand). Hashtags allow for you to be found by others who may have similar interests. They get you followers... They link your image to other fun like-minded images. And you can only use thirty of them per post. That's all about hashtags in a nutshell.
Over time I have compiled my own little hashtag "cheat sheet". All the hashtags I use for different subject matter separated by such and in alphabetical order. It makes it much simpler to just copy and paste than to wrack your brain to come up with them. Just flying my freak flag high, right?
