And so it came to pass, that the Olsen five have had their last Dutch wonderland visit. A Dutch Wonderland decked out for the holiday season, but DW nonetheless. We brought my mom and my brother and his family along as well, all to celebrate the season. And as Mikayla and Dominic are now such sturdy walkers they can go on quite a few rides. I love a baby's first!!
The weather couldn't have been nicer for a December. Sunny and in the
60's. Unheard of for Lancaster county! We got there right as it opened
so we could avoid the worst of the crowds. The babies did wonderful on
their own on the rides, I think having an older sibling/cousin along
helps take the edge off any nerves. We stayed for one viewing of the
light show, our fourth year running!!! Fourth, and final!!! Tear.
Each
ride I said okay kids say goodbye to the dozers! Say goodbye monster
trucks! And as we walked out from under that castle one final time Letty
and I turned around and said goodbye Dutch Wee (that's how long we have been coming here, since Letty couldn't say Wonderland and so said Wee)! And Letty whimpered a
little but really... Hersheypark will have way better thrill rides for you
my dear!
