We have officially hit the point of counting down our "sleeps" till our Walt Disney World vacation. Now some of you have been around here long enough to know that I am a not so closet Disney lover, but to some this may be news. We just go nuts for it Matt and I. This will be lucky Letty's fourth trip there and David's third. We always try to do something to add to the already crazy sense of excitement.... the past two trips that was a countdown chain with an activity or quote on each day. We decided to reuse most of the old activities but to hide each day's activity with a small Mickey. Sort of Elf on the Shelf style.
Mickey arrived last Saturday with a rung doorbell, sitting on our stoop with the kid's matching Disney wear (that my nieces will also be donning for the trip), courtesy of Nonna and Poppop. Which the entire trip is courtesy of them so let credit go were credit is due.
The first activity was to write a letter to their favorite Disney character. Letty wasted no time in getting hers ready for Merida... David less so as he couldn't decide between Tow-Mater and Lightning McQueen. Letters complete, they were mailed to this address:

After which a great deal of time passes each kid should receive an autographed postcard back. Not from that specific character but from a group. It's really quite exciting.
