Dominic, aged 10 months: He took his first steps yesterday. He was just standing by my mom and let go of her and took a casual three teetering steps towards her and she squealed louder and louder with each step. It was a moment. We all witnessed it, but of course he didn't repeat it for me to get on camera. Another time I'm sure, and it won't be long I'm afraid.

David, aged 3 years: He's starving himself slowly. The end.

Letteria, aged 5 years: There is something about jeans and sneakers on her, flares no less, that just ages her instantly. She's been really into wearing the denim lately, and while it makes her look more grown up, I am definitely enjoying the lack of daily knee holes.

Past weekly shots here.

  1. all so adorable as usual. david not eating still is no surprise. discipline is unmatched.

  2. first steps?!!! oh my gosh!! that's awesome. and bittersweet!! how fast his babyhood has gone!!

  3. Yay Dom! I can't wait to see it! I love the first steps babies take. So wobbly and adorable :) and wow Letty looks so grown up in those flare jeans! She's a cutie!

  4. First steps! sigh. Aria cooperated nicely and got hers on film. I think that was our good timing for the rest of our lives though.
Aria always eats so little for dinner and then doesn't want breakfast until she's been up for about 3 hours. I'm like how? I'm starving! I have to eat before her in the mornings these days or I die. I thought kids had to eat when they woke up as a general rule or hungry hippos.
She does look so big! So grown. So jean-y.

  5. First steps, hunger strikes, and flares!!! I don't even know where to begin. What a bunch of cuties!!

  6. There is so much going on here. First steps! This is huge. Those jeans are super cute on her but you are definitely right about the aging. Sigh. Please eat D. :-)
