Dominic, aged 9 months: His favorite spot in the house is under our kitchen table, on the sewing machine base of my great grandmother's. He stands on the pedal and rocks the wheel back and forth like he's steering a ship. He's just the perfect height right now, but not for long.

aged 3 years: This shirt I love so very much. I think he looks quite handsome. He had a rough transition to fall clothing, calling each item "too big" because it covered his arms and legs. But then he discovered most pants have pockets and he was thrilled.

aged 5 years: What are these Shopkins? And why do kids like them? She has already informed me that she wants Shopkins from Santa this year. Her one little friend at school wants to do a Shopkins Swap and I'm all WHAT ARE THESE THINGS!!?
