A photo of each of my brood, once a week, every week, of 2015.

Dominic, aged 17 weeks: He is a joy in the mornings. Whether he is plucked out of his crib or his swing he is a smiley, chubby little wonder. He nurses and then watches me pump before he gets his oatmeal followed by another mini nursing session and then his first nap. Oh the life of a baby.

David, aged 2 years: First we hear his little feet climb out of bed and go get his iPad that is blaring white noise. We have a childproof lock on the inside of his door but we have already cracked it for him so he can escape. He shuts the door firmly behind him and yells down the stairs "I'm coming to get you!" as he runs down the hall towards the kitchen. Sound machine still on. Every morning he is presented with three chocolate cereal choices which all offend him but he will eventually settle on Cheerios with his sippy of water (with ice please) and his sippy of milk. His hair is awesome.

Letteria, aged 4 years: She normally wakes up before any of us and plays on her iPad in bed for a while. But this day she is recovering from her sleepover hangover and so she is the last to pad down the stairs. She gets her vitamins and a yogurt or else some toast, depending on what mood she is in. Her hair is the epitome of ridiculousness.

Past weekly shots here.

  2. The days of getting out of bed themselves, that sounds like fantasy land! A dream world full of rainbows! Bed head is the best too.

  4. So many smiles here. Love it. Ridiculous hair is cute. Especially for the little ones. Although, not so much on me. ;-)
