the disney portion part 5

Letty still had her fever but as long as she had Tylenol in her system she acted normally... So we decided today was the day. The day we were going to meet Anna and Elsa. We got to Magic Kingdom before it opened and I walked very fast (read: ran) to the Princess Hall place. I was there by 8:03 and the park had only been open only three minutes. The line was two hours long. By 8:21 it was over five hours long. Too bad ladies we were not waiting in that! Shocking.

Instead we got to ride a ton of other rides, since most people were waiting in that mess. Being there first thing really is the best. We always have such success during that Extra Magic Hour.

Attractions/characters we did get to do/see:
Rapunzel and Cinderella
Prince Charming Regal Carousel
Peter Pan's Flight
It's a Small World
The Magic Carpet's of Aladdin
Jungle Cruise
Pirates of the Caribbean
Mickey's Philharmagic
Prince Charming Regal Carousel
Dumbo the Flying Elephant
Walt Disney World Railroad
Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid

I had wanted to stay for the parade but once Letty saw my mom leave all bets were off. We had to go where Nonna goes. We found a water park back at our resort and the next two hours were spent there.

Dinner was had back at our resort as well at The Turf Club Bar and Grill. We met our Aunt Wilma there for dinner. Sadly no real photos because Letty had had it. Fevers and vacation. No fun.

After the kids were settled Kerri came back again and we walked around Downtown Disney for my last night. Sniff.

It turns out that Letty's said fever was caused by an ear infection. The poor dear. We left early the next morning and drove drove drove until we could drove no more. I hate doing it all in one push when the push is mostly during daylight hours. We all get a bit cranky. Understandably so...

Thank you to my parents for the lovely trip to Disney World! We always have such a great time and make such magical memories. We are already dreaming of when we can go back. Wink wink.

p.s. again, some of these photos are Kerri's.
