liebster award + i answer things

11.25.2013

It's a two post in one day kind of Monday. The mind reels. I feel like I should bow or something when I saw this graphic. Why thank you. Thank you very much (said in my best Elvis voice). Kelsey at Pardon My French nominated me for this and asked me some questions. You know the drill. If I'm asked I shall answer.

1. What did you want to be when you grow up? A toll booth worker. I actually said that at one point. I think it was probably because they got to stay up late at night? Other than that great idea I don't think I ever really had a vision of what I wanted to be. I knew I wanted to travel and I knew I wanted kids.

2. How long could you go without talking? Ha! Impossible.

3. Do you decorate the outside of your house for christmas? Why yes I do. Some years more than others. I am all about white lights only. Maybe one accent tree with colored bulbs but that's it. And that is all because that's what Janet does. And we all know when it comes to Christmas decorating I only do what Janet does.

4. What was the last piece of clothing you purchased? My funky leggings. I really like that I only spent 10 bucks on a pair of pants. Hashtag winning.

5. What do you consider is the most important appliance in your house? Washing machine. Great question! Without it I would be lost. It's quite the hard working appliance. Two kids and lots of towels and sheets and clothes. Without you washing machine I would be so dirty! I applaud you.

6. What was your first job? I was a Pharmacy Technician for CVS. Hard to believe they let a 16 year old count out drugs but alas, they did.

7. Are you much of an adventurer? I think I used to be maybe. Hot air balloon rides. Bungee jumping. Motorcycle riding. Traveling. Tattoo getting. Does that count? Add it to the list of things I am no more since kids. Not that I mind.

8. What is your favorite holiday? CHRISTMAS!!!!! I'm a crazed wild eyed kid right now because the rest of the world is finally catching up to me.

9. If you could learn any language fluently what would it be? Italian. Grazie.

10. Whats your first thought upon waking up? Four am again!?! Letty enough with the nightmares! Grumble grumble grumble.

11. What is at the top of your Christmas list? This. I just want to vacuum all the crumbs. And I also want to teach Letty how to use it. Because I am a child labor supporter.

In no particular order I am nominating...Sarah at Oh, The Things I Think. Jen at That's What She Read. Tabitha at Wandering Java Lover. Laurie at Disney n' Diapers. Kerri and Cheshire Kat. Basically all my sidebar ladies. I understand if you don't want to. I won't cry too much. Wink wink. And sorry Tabitha and Sarah about my two American Thanksgiving questions... Maybe make them your own? Questions. 1. Do you have any unique Thanksgiving traditions happening? 2. How will you be spending your Black Friday? 3. What is your favorite Christmas movie? 4. Are the lights on your Christmas tree multi-colored or white? 5. What is your favorite Harry Potter movie and why? (Make one up Ker.) 6. Do you put creamer in your coffee? Or tea? 7. What's your favorite blogger cliche? 8. What is your strangest fear? 9. What time of day do you normally work out? If you do. 10. Do you make your bed every day? 11. Do you make New Year's resolutions?

And.... Out. Happy Monday.
