comfortable reaction

Today's pre-approved topic: react to the term comfort.

My initial reaction always lands on physical comfort. I have a strange tactile malfunction. Anything that can itch me does. Sweaters are something that simply the thought of makes my skin crawl. Turtlenecks? Might as well be a noose. Lace is just not part of my wardrobe. I have all the tags cut off of all my shirts. Something about it just gives me goosebumps. And not the good kind. So hearing comfort automatically goes in my mind to what I'm wearing. Nothing itchy. Nothing constraining. Elastic waistbands and a t-shirt are just fine for me thanks. Tangent over. Apologies. Back to the task at hand.

Fall is upon us and I just think that Fall is the most comfortable of seasons. Leggings and boots. A Fall candle burning and maybe the fireplace is on as well. The sky may be grey but that just adds to it. The color of the leaves pops right off that backdrop. And I don't even have to leave my house. I can see all this from the comfort (ba-dump-bump) of my own cozy living room couch.

So I give you-my favorite things that are Fall and therefore comfortable:

1// Forever 21 leggings. For this price buy ten. Seriously. 2// Yankee Candle's Be Thankful. I have this in the jar and it just takes over the whole house. Thank you forever and ever amen. 3// Hunter boots. I didn't get these until winter of last year so I am just thrilled imagining where I'll be wearing them. 4// Rex-Goliath Cabernet Sauvignon. It's cold outside. It should be warm inside. 5// Feed for Target hoodie. I need a new one. I find one I like and I wear it till it's despicable. My current hoodie is from 2007. Help. 6// Casper. I loved watching this when I was a kid. It's Fall. It's New England. I can watch it from my couch. 7// Folgers Gourmet Selections Vanilla Biscotti K-cup. If it's too early for number four there's always this.

That was fun. Maybe I'll do more of these. Yes?

Monday's topic, life as of lately.
