So I was just sitting here the other day thinking I should probably get my training plan together for the
Philadelphia Rock n' Roll Half Marathon on September 15. I thought 12 weeks would land me starting in the middle of July. Math is not my forte. So it starts on June 24. After a weekend of wedding festivities. Go me. Good thing that first day is a rest day.
I used Hal Higdon's training plan before for my first half marathon. I liked it. I was able to handle it. So this time I decided to up the ante and go for
Novice 2. Oh yeah. Getting crazy here. It's basically the same thing except it has some speed work involved. My sister-in-law Ashley is running it with me so at least I won't be alone. I like training with a buddy.
So off I go!
